Mr Doran manafactured many items such as dining tables and chairs, sideboards, display cabinets, bed heads, bedside tables, coffee tables and more while working as a cabinet maker for his own business, Better Furniture. Many years later Mr Doran opened Doran's Exclusive Furniture on King Willliam Road with only a third of what is currently there. To keep with the pace of a changing market, Mr Doran stopped producing furiture and now imports the finest quality pieces from all over the world.
